Hi There! I’m Emma Hetrick

I am a Spring 2022 graduate of the dual-degree Masters of Science in Information Studies and Masters of Arts in English program at the University of Texas at Austin, with endorsements of specialization in Digital Humanities and Academic Librarianship. I earned by Bachelor of Arts degree in English and History at the University of Pennsylvania.

I have been working in museums and libraries for over a decade, developing a robust skillset to serve the diverse needs of users in information institutions. I’m particularly excited about supporting pathways to learning about literature, history, and culture through digital and book history methods, as well as being able to empower people to find, evaluate, and use information.
